Victor Abendano

Victor Abendano is a Texas-raised, Mexican-American singer-songwriter whose music is steeped in storytelling, resilience, and southern soul. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served in Fallujah during Operation Iraqi Freedom II, Victor’s journey from hardship to healing has shaped both his life and his art.

He began his professional music career in Ruston, Louisiana, collaborating with producer Monty Russell and bassist James Cook on his debut EP, Seasons Pass. Backed by the Pegram Hippie Collective and featuring Grammy-winner Joel Guzman and the high-energy Tijuana Trainwreck horns, the project reflects Victor’s raw acoustic style and lyrical depth.

Now based in Mississippi, Victor is a devoted husband, father, and Ambassador Director of the Mississippi Songwriters Alliance, where he leads efforts in live events, co-writing sessions, and veteran outreach through music. Offstage, he serves his community as a dedicated financial advisor, helping families plan for the future with the same care he brings to every song. His 2019 release, Victor Abendano with Jelly: Live at the Back Bar, and his forthcoming full-length album (due March 2026) continue to showcase a voice grounded in heart, heritage, and humanity.
