Trailand Eltzroth
Trailand Eltzroth is a musician, indie singer-songwriter and composer who grew up and currently lives with his family Jackson, MS. He has been involved in the Mississippi arts scene for over a decade. Trailand experiments with combining his voice, acoustic guitar with recorded sounds. His songs contain intimate lyrics about his faith and family life. For My Friends and Family, Trailand’s first full length album was released in February,2024. His debut EP Yesterday’s Normal was released in early 2021, a solo project influenced by artists such as Andrew Peterson, Henry Jamison and Sufjan Stevens. Hesecond EP Ascension was released in 2022 and with his Christmas song titled Gloria.
He received his bachelor’s degree in composition at Belhaven University in Jackson andhis master’s degree in composition at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff, Wales. Since graduating in 2019, Trailand has taught his trade to his students.Trailand is a gardener, birder and stargazer.
