Quinn Erwin

Quinn Erwin is a singer-songwriter and producer based in Fort Walton Beach, FL by way of Nashville, TN. His unrelenting writing and creative drive have forged paths for different musical outlets including Saint Social, Afterlife Parade, Bloom & the Bliss, and his solo material. Over the course of his decade-long career, his songs have made a mark in independent films all over the world and TV shows on MTV, Netflix, and Hulu including major commercial spots during Super Bowl LIII, and BMW’s 2020 Light It Up holiday campaign.

Outside of his continuing duties as a front man for his many projects and on the heels ofhis latest solo endeavor, A Joy Deeper, Erwin is always looking ahead to continue his journey of self-expression.  

“It’s really an honor to get to be in the bands I’m in because they each carry parts of my personality in a very singular way…but that being said, I have some things to say with just my voice and an instrument, or occasionally with some of my other friends, that Ineed to share on my own.”

A Joy Deeper (released during quarantine) was just the beginning of Erwin’s reflections on grief and finding joy in the middle of the process.

“I think, like most people, I experienced a fair amount of loss throughout the pandemic, and even some larger hits personally. It was well beyond what I expected 2020 to be, at least for me.  But in the middle of that, I really started to process what matters in life and found this deep hunger to be more present.  Releasing A Joy Deeper was a stake in the ground I needed to make to keep on going…to feel all the hard feelings, yes, but also to celebrate and honor the good in life too.”

If A Joy Deeper is a thesis statement, we can only expect even more depth in what Erwin is cooking up next.

“I’ve loved playing with ironies in my writing.  My first full length record(Initiation, released in 2017) is such a fun listen, which makes it great to play in the venues I generally am in, but those lyrics are meant to be thinkers, Man!  I want to keep crafting that kind of catharsis and go even deeper in honesty as much as I can.

”Erwin further adds, “With everything we’ve experienced together in the world, I’m justgrateful to be a voice that gives people the words…if they need them…to enjoy this lifeeven when it’s so hard.”
