Olav Tofte

Olav started playin’, singin’, and writing songs at the age of 16. In 1985 his first album was released in Norway, and in 1986 he performed on national TV. In 2016 they started the band “Tofte Family”, with his wife, Torill. The same year they recorded an album with Christin lyrics. In 2021 they recorded an album with great musicians in Norway. In 2023 they recorded 3 songs, in Nashville, TN. This led to much airplay in Europe, the US and some in Canada, Australia and South-Africa. They were on the Top 40 list at Star Radio, Nashville for nearly 7 months. They were invited to Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards 2023 in Marshall, Texas, where they won the award for best duo/trio. They have been invited back to Marshall in 2025. Olav is a member of the international ISSA, and the Norwegian NSA. He, or he and his family, have been nominated for several awards at ISSA, Red Carpet Awards Europe and EMA. Olavs music has been promoted by FAJo Music and GBOB Music in Norway, and by Nite*Sky Records/Andrew Dean and Kayden Gordon in the US.
